Over 800,000 Americans Have Some Royal Ancestry
Have you ever heard someone say that they have Royal Ancestry? Well, you should not be that surprised in the year 1990 over 800,000 Americans had Royal Lines in their ancestry. In fact now in 2006 there are over 1 million Americans with royal lineage. That is rather interesting isn’t it? Indeed it is and it shows that we have amongst us at least one in 300 people today with royal lines in their genealogy; excellent stuff for coffee table talk, I would assume.
Recently this subject came up in an online think tank when a conversation got going and I mentioned my recent genealogy searching and another guest member stated that she had royal lines too and ran off the list; “>> Pepin the Short, Pepin the Long, Charles the Bald, Charles Martle and lets not forget Charlemange lineage.”
Perhaps you should check out your lineage also and see if you too have royal lines somewhere in your family. There is a good chance you do you see. In fact if you do get into royal lines of ancestry you may find yourself related in some way to nearly King, Queen of the last 2000 years. But that stands to reason as so many of them were inter-related. I found out I had in my lines; “King Edward the VI, And King Richard the Lion Hearted” also and many others, which had branched from there you see?
Genealogy research is hard work and tedious, but you just never know what you will find and this means that it can be so very exciting. Perhaps you might consider this as a hobby. Maybe it will explain more about yourself to you and thus help you along the way. Think on this in 2006.
